C&K helps raise funds for Greenwich Autism Alliance Foundation

Posted October 4, 2012

At C&K Trucking, we believe in supporting worthwhile causes which help those less fortunate. The Greenwich Autism Alliance Foundation (GAA) is one such organization which we are extremely proud to help. They help children with autism, a childhood, developmental disease that affects 1 in every 110 children. They improve the lives of people affected by autism, and more importantly, reach beyond the confines of autism and start to change attitudes that have traditionally created barriers for people with autism.

As a platinum sponsor for their fundraising events this year, C&K helped raise close to $100,000. The proceeds raised provide assistance to programs and to teachers who provide services for individuals with autism and their families. Our own Sean McShane was an integral part of our involvement, working directly with Bob Milazzo, GAA's President.
